A little over four months ago we lost my darling mother in law.
Virginia Lea Hill "Ginger".
At Grannies surprise party.
We had the amazing opportunity to bring her to our home in her final days. We got to do some of the things that she had wanted to do for months. She had been in the hospital for over six months. She played cards with the boys. Ate homemade food. Visited with family and friends. After 13 days she passed. She is no longer in pain, no longer suffering. It's amazing I've always heard "they are now at peace" or "they are not suffering any more". I really NEVER understood how true that is until that moment I experienced it first hand. Thank you Jesus for the years we had her here.

I have been wanting to do a blog for a while now. How do you adequately put into words how you feel about someone like that. Ginger treated me like a daughter. She loved her family more than life. She would do anything for her family.

She taught me how to cook. Many many things some of the best are stuffing and gravy. She passed on to me the love of crystal. She gave me her son. She loved him SO SO much! I am forever grateful to her for all she did not only for me but her whole family.

Most days it is still not real. I find myself wanting to ask Ira have you talked to your mom. They say time will heal the pain and the empty feeling. I look foreword to that. I know that one day I will see her again. Thank you thank you for everything.
